Bankruptcy & Probate Verification
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recovery managers must constantly struggle
with the following challenges:
• Maintaining knowledge of bankruptcies which offer
protection to debtors.
• Ensuring that only those cases which actually protect
the account in question are considered.
• Keeping up to date with the relevant cases to ensure that
case events which offer recovery potential
(found assets, dismissal) are acted upon immediately.
With pinpoint accurate matches,
configurable matching and business rules,
and proactive case monitoring and notifications,
RMSC enables the recovery manager to take decisions
with the most up to date bankruptcy information.
The RMSC Solution
_________________________________________________------------------------------------------------------_______
RMSC recognizes that recovery efforts do not necessarily
cease upon notification of a bankruptcy filing. To this end, our system is
designed for bankruptcy verification as well as bankruptcy notification.
Bankruptcy
verification allows our clients to upload demographic information in batches
and receive confirmations either in the form of a simple yes/no confirmation
or by receiving full bankruptcy case information.
Bankruptcy notification
is designed for a more proactive approach to bankruptcy case management.
Through this system, a recovery manager can register accounts to be monitored
for bankruptcy. If at any point the holder of the account files for bankruptcy,
a bankruptcy message is proactively sent out. Additionally, clients can
register for any case event of interest to them (i.e., found assets, dismissal,
discharge) and be proactively notified when they happen. This proactive approach
can significantly increase recovery for bankrupt accounts.
The entire process
is configurable to the client's unique business environment. RMSC works
with the client to identify any business rules to be applied before bankruptcy
confirmations are returned. This significantly increases the quality of
the information which is returned.
